We have very exciting news to share with you today. Our visual novel An Octave Higher will be published by AGM Playism, a game publisher from Japan, on their own online store and the popular PC gaming platform Steam. They will also publish the mobile version on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
We already wrote a bit about the story of An Octave Higher half a year ago, but in case you missed it, the visual novel is set in Overture, an industrial city in a magical world where everyone can use magic, and magic machines are built to greatly simplify the casting of magic spells as well as allow magic to be automated. However, the industrial revolution that is brought about by magical science and engineering also comes with a host of societal issues which see Overture’s society divided into two distinct social classes: the bourgeoisie, made up of rich people and capitalists, and the proletariat, which largely comprises poor factory workers whose job is to cast magic spells all day to assemble magic machines in a factory.
We’re very excited about working with AGM Playism in bringing An Octave Higher to gamers everywhere. Whether you prefer to play on a PC or a mobile device, you can look forward to playing our visual novel very soon.
